From drivers and plant operators to engineers and customer service representatives, each team member contributes to our mission of reducing landfill reliance and promoting sustainable waste recovery. Our employees are experts in their fields, continually innovating to enhance our waste treatment processes. Through ongoing training and investment in new technologies, we empower our staff to develop their skills and stay at the forefront of the waste industry. Stephen Thompson
Stephen has held the appointment of Transport Manager for RiverRidge since March 2014. Having worked in the transport and warehousing sector for over 20 years, Stephen is a highly accomplished and well organised professional, bringing a depth of experience, detailed knowledge, and technical, logistical know-how to RiverRidge.
Pamela Jordan
Pamela has been our Senior Commercial Manager since 2011. She is extremely focused and committed to the growth of the business. As a strong multitasker, she has the ability to take immediate effect on sales figures, to ensure targets are met and indeed exceeded. Pamela works as a confident and articulate communicator and uses her in-depth knowledge of business principles to enhance RiverRidges performance in a highly competitive market.
Gavin McDonagh
Gavin has been RiverRidge’s Senior Contract Manager since 2017. He has over 10 years experience within the waste management industry, and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in managing contracts in both commercial and municipal areas of the business.
Chris Fillis
Chris Fillis has been with RiverRidge since 2014 and currently serves as Operations Director. With extensive experience in the waste management sector, he plays a key role in overseeing the company’s operational strategy, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all sites.
Under Chris’ leadership, RiverRidge has strengthened its position as the leading waste and resource management company in Northern Ireland, driving innovation and operational excellence in the industry.
Lisa Coyle
Lisa has been RiverRidge’s Financial Controller since 2021, she brings with her over 20 years experience in the financial industry, and is an integral member of our Finance department.
Linda Smith
Linda has been RiverRidge’s Senior Financial Analyst since 2023, she brings with her over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, and is an integral member of our Finance Department.
Billy Thompson
Billy has been RiverRidge’s Business Improvement Manager since 2020, and brings with him over 14 years of experience within the waste management industry. His role includes commercial analysis and improvement, as well as managing the customer service team, and our internal waste system.
Rhonda Armstrong
Rhonda has been RiverRidge’s Human Resources Manager since 2019, bringing with her over 25 years of experience within the HR industry. She offers a wealth of knowledge in employee relations, recruitment, training, benefits, and workplace policies to ensure a productive and compliant work environment.
Alan Featherstone
Alan has been RiverRidge’s Group Health and Safety Manager since 2023, bringing roughly 30 years of experience within the H&S industry. Alan ensures compliance with safety regulations, conducts risk assessments, implements safety training, and enforces policies to protect employees, the public, and the environment from hazards related to waste handling and disposal.
Vitor Pereira
Vitor has been the IT Manager at RiverRidge since 2018, and brings over 29 years of experience in the Information Technology sector. He oversees the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring the security, maintenance, and efficiency of IT systems. Vitor manages software, data security, digital tracking systems for waste operations, and provides technical support to staff.
Marek Tonderys
Marek has been the Senior Compliance Manager since 2021, and has worked in the waste industry for over 16 years. He ensures that the business adheres to all environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Suzanne Devlin
Suzanne has been RiverRidge’s Environmental & Sustainability Manager since 2023, bringing over 17 years of experience in the environmental and sustainability sector. She plays a key role in driving initiatives that promote sustainable practices and environmental responsibility across the company.
Graham Curtis
Graham joined RiverRidge in 2024 and plays a key role in brand management and marketing. He is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the company’s services and strengthen its brand reputation. Graham’s role also includes overseeing branding, advertising, social media, and public relations to enhance awareness and drive business growth.
