Reuniting Customer with Missing Ring

RiverRidge’s award-winning team is renowned for going over and above for its customers, which is why our team was more than happy to reunite an extremely upset customer with one of her beloved rings, following it being mistakenly discarded with her rubbish.

When notified about the error, our operations team at our Maydown facility got to work, sifting through tonnes of waste in hopes of finding the gold! They were delighted to retrieve the beautiful ring and return it to Nicola, who was a very happy RiverRidge customer!

In a letter addressed to the RiverRidge team, Nicola thanked our dedicated team for their efforts in finding the ring, remarking, “I never thought when I saw the amount of cardboard that it would be found.”

This is not the first time RiverRidge has gone above and beyond to reunite one of their customers with lost pieces of jewellery. In January 2022, Kathleen and Eric McKimmon, from Cupar in Scotland, were visiting family and friends when Eric unknowingly put Kathleen’s jewellery collection in a waste bin. The jewellery had huge sentimental value and included six necklaces, three rings and a charm bracelet.

After getting in touch with RiverRidge, our team immediately got to work to try and retrieve the missing jewellery, locating the missing items before Kathleen made her return journey to Scotland.

Following the successful retrieval, Kathleen commented, “I am so grateful to everyone who helped along the way and went above and beyond to retrieve the jewellery. Everyone was incredible. Nobody could have been more helpful, comforting and reassuring. My sincere thanks to everyone who was involved.”
