Employee Survey Raises Money for RiverRidge Charity Partner, NI Children’s Hospice

Looking after our people is one of the core principles in our recently launched, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, and in order to achieve this, we wanted to offer our employees the opportunity to have their voices heard, and contribute to the long-term success of the company.

We recently conducted an employee survey to gauge feedback on our employee experiences and look at how we can continue to make meaningful improvements.

To reinforce the importance of participating in the survey and encourage more employees to take part, RiverRidge committed to donating £2 towards our charity partner of the year, Northern Ireland’s Children Hospice, for every completed survey.

In total, we achieved a 52% participation rate, meaning that 151 employees out of 290 completed the survey. This is encouraging given it was our first ever survey, and we look forward to increasing that figure in subsequent employee surveys to come.

As a result of the participation in the survey, our employees have raised a total of £302 for this very worthy cause.

The NI Children’s Hospice does some amazing work in our local community by providing services to over 370 infants with end-of-life care, care at home, specialist respite and symptom management, as well as offering support to the families of the young people affected.

At RiverRidge, we understand the life changing impact this worthwhile charity has on many in Northern Ireland; therefore, we have dedicated a lot of our charitable efforts over recent years to the Children’s Hospice and will continue to do so in the future.
