RiverRidge is proud to sponsor Linen Quarter Business Improvement District’s (LQ BID) newly launched ‘RE[act] Festival 2021’.
The festival, which seeks to inspire a more sustainable Belfast, will run from 2nd to 12th November, and will consist of a series of events taking place to coincide with the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26).
Kicking off on Thursday 2nd November with a launch event at The Clayton Hotel, with a drinks reception sponsored by RiverRidge, the keynote address will be from global expert Carol Lemmens, who will be discussing how to create a more circular city, moving from use and dispose to redesign and repurpose.
Throughout the remainder of the festival, a series of events, alongside key partners, will be held to help re-imagine everything that we do from food to fashion, transport to the built environment and from finance to community empowerment.
We are delighted to see organisations such as LQ BID, make a stand to inspire industries and businesses to make small changes in order to respond to the global climate crisis. RiverRidge is committed to our community and is passionate about doing all we can to protect our planet. We will continue to look for innovative and sustainable ways to rethink our resources!
