RiverRidge Wins Excellence in Compliance Award Second Year Running

RiverRidge has been praised at the annual Export & Freight Transport & Logistics Awards for its commitment to compliance for the second year in succession.

The company was presented with the much coveted Excellence in Compliance Award by Hugh Lowry, Production Manager, sponsors W&G Baird Ltd, during a glittering ceremony at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast which was attended by around 700 guests from all sectors of the transport and logistics industry and compered by the BBC NI sports presenter Joel Taggart.

Organised by the Hillsborough based publishers of Export & Freight magazine, 4SM (NI) Ltd, the event, now in its 17th year, is Ireland’s premier platform of recognition for those operating in the industry; it celebrates all the hard work, determination, and ongoing investment that make the industry what it is today.

RiverRidge operates Northern Ireland’s largest and most diversified independent waste management company. Initially acquired in 2011, the company has undergone substantial investment over the past number of years which has transformed it from a small skip hire and landfill business to the fully integrated waste recovery operation it is today.
