Derry GAA’s event ‘Outside the Game – A Careers Expo’ held on Saturday 17 February saw many local companies come together including Northern Ireland’s leading waste management and Derry GAA Youth Development Squad sponsor, RiverRidge.
The event was held in order to develop links between young athletes and local businesses seeking to employ people in the community. It was a chance for companies to present available opportunities and to offer advice to those starting out in their professional lives or preparing for future career possibilities.
Eamon Doherty, Compliance Director of RiverRidge comments; “As proud sponsor of Derry GAA Youth Development Squads, we are committed to the development of these young players and Outside the Game – A Careers Expo was an added opportunity to benefit these sportsmen and women as they consider a future career.”
