Brett Ross
Brett Ross is the CEO of RiverRidge Holdings and a director of Full Circle Generation Limited. Originally from Zimbabwe, he graduated from Rhodes University, South Africa, and began his career at Coopers & Lybrand in Harare. He later played a key role in Crest Breeders International, developing its grain and feedstock division and co-founding the Zimbabwe Agricultural Commodity Exchange.
After relocating to Ireland in 2003, Brett worked in derivatives trading before acquiring Coleraine Skip Hire in 2011, later rebranded as RiverRidge Holdings. Under his leadership, the company has expanded significantly, including driving a £107m waste-to-energy project.
Cara O’Kane
Cara joined RiverRidge in December 2020 and is a Chartered Management Accountant with over 18 years of experience in the manufacturing sector. After earning her MBA in 1996, she trained in Dublin and has since held senior finance roles spanning reporting, strategic planning, and business partnering.
Her career includes working with global companies on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, ERP implementations, process improvements, M&A, and site relocations. During her 18 years at Schrader Electronics/Sensata Inc., she supported its growth from £20M revenue and 180 employees to £500M revenue and 1,400 employees across four global sites.
Cecil McBurney
Cecil joined RiverRidge as Corporate Operations Officer in August 2017. With 23 years at Bombardier, he progressed to Operations and Plant Engineering Director, leading major renewable energy projects, including the largest solar farm, biogas project, and energy-from-waste facility—delivered in partnership with RiverRidge.
