RiverRidge Recycling raises £10,000 for NI Children’s Hospice

Northern Ireland’s largest independent waste firm, RiverRidge Recycling has raised an outstanding £10,000 for the very worthy Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

The Hospice is the only service of its type in Northern Ireland, and after a close personal experience within the company, RiverRidge Recycling’s Charity Committee decided that all charitable efforts would be offered in support of the wonderful, much needed work of NI Children’s Hospice.

Brett Ross, Managing Director of RiverRidge Recycling, said, “We are very proud to be able to present NI Children’s Hospice with these monies and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped support all our fundraising efforts throughout 2015, your help will undoubtedly benefit the charity and their great work.

“We saw NI Children’s Hospice at work first hand and we were blown away by the support and advice available. There are over 1,300 life-limited children and young people in Northern Ireland who, along with their families, require the specialist care that only this organisation can provide. Therefore, to not only support, but to focus all our charitable efforts towards NI Children’s Hospice was a very easy decision for the company and our Charity Committee to make.”

This year RiverRidge Recycling has decided to again dedicate all their charitable efforts to Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. Brett Ross, continues “We are pleased to announce that the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice will also be RiverRidge Recycling’s nominated charity for 2016.

“It is very much our aim to make this year as big of an achievement as last year. We will have a number of exciting charity events and fundraisers throughout the year, including a film premiere night which is a great event for all the family to enjoy. Last year we hosted our first Charity Golf Day, which was a major success and it will be returning this year again on Friday 23rd September 2016.

Eva Toal, of NI Children’s Hospice praised RiverRidge Recycling for their commitment to the charity, “We are, of course, so grateful to RiverRidge Recycling for their outstanding efforts and I would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of all our staff, volunteers and the children at NI Children’s Hospice.

“Everyone at RiverRidge Recycling has helped us enormously and these monies will help me and the rest of the team continue supporting the children of the hospice and their families with high quality advice and care – so thank you all.”
